The ABA Section of Dispute Resolution has designated the third week of October as the time to promote and celebrate peaceful conflict resolution practices worldwide.

Ethics, Professionalism and Other Potential Sources of Anxiety for Counsel in Mediations and Arbitrations
This program covers the complex topic of ethics and professionalism as it relates to ADR with a specific focus on Florida practice. The program is moderated by JAMS neutral Joe Farina, Retired Chief Judge 11th Judicial Circuit. Judge Farina is a current member of the Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Judges Advisory Committee for the American Bar Association. This program will include an analysis of relevant statutory ethical guidelines. Hypotheticals will also be used to generate discussion.
