Mediation as a Tool for Resolving Community Disputes
Guatemala is a leader in the development of community mediation.  They have 22 resolution centers throughout the country and conduct mediations in 11 different languages. Under this Supreme Court program, hundreds of local community mediators have been trained. This group of community mediators from across Guatemala are meeting for a day of training and meetings at Guatemala’s Supreme Court.
