About the EventJAMS and SHIAC will be co-hosting a roundtable in Shanghai to discuss the latest developments in Entertainment, Sports and Intellectual Property Disputes with Shanghai-based lawyers and in-house counsel. Topics to be discussed include the intersection between ADR and Intellectual Property in the entertainment and sports industries, how international arbitration can play a role with Sino-American copyright disputes and what opportunities exist for ADR in the increasingly lucrative field of Chinese professional sports. About Shanghai International Arbitration Commission (SHIAC)Formally established by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government in 1988, the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) is the pre-eminent ADR institution in Shanghai. SHIAC has 965 arbitrators of which 63% are from Mainland China and the others external to Mainland China.
