Scheindlin (Ret.) has long been a thought leader in the world of e-discovery based on her service on the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules, her landmark opinions in Zubulake and Pension Committee, and her many books and articles on this subject. In this CLE presentation, Judge Scheindlin will provide her insights as to what impact, if any, the new Federal Rules are having in practice and will also report on recent developments in the area including the Microsoft case, the changes to the safe harbor provisions in EU data transfers, and the increasing use of TAR techniques in document review. |
