Riverside, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Hon. Keith D. Davis (Ret.) to its panel. Prior to joining JAMS, Judge Davis served for over 23 years on the San Bernardino Superior Court, having spent a majority of that time hearing civil cases in the Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino Historic and San Bernardino Justice Center courthouses.
Based in the JAMS Inland Empire Resolution Center, Judge Davis will serve as an arbitrator and mediator, handling disputes in business and commercial, construction, employment, insurance, personal injury and torts, professional liability and real property.
Through his many years of experience, Judge Davis has been widely recognized and has earned a reputation for being fair, patient and an advocate for mediation. With his strong background and deep understanding of the law, we are confident he will make an outstanding addition to our talented JAMS panel in the Inland Empire.
- Chris Poole, JAMS President and CEO
Early in his judicial career, Judge Davis was an advocate for the use of mediation in a variety of cases. During his time as a San Bernardino Juvenile Court judge in the late 1990s, he started the Dependency Mediation Program, which is now a cornerstone of Juvenile Court. Previously, Judge Davis was a deputy district attorney in the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office. After two years, he joined a law firm and began representing public entities, private businesses, law enforcement agencies and individuals.
I have been involved in hundreds of settlement conferences in virtually every area of civil litigation, which has prepared me for this new venture as a JAMS neutral. Joining the JAMS panel felt like a natural progression of my career, and I’m looking forward to resolving complex disputes.
- Hon. Keith D. Davis (Ret.), JAMS Neutral
Judge Davis received his B.S.F.S. (Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service) from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law.
