Ellie Hourizadeh, Esq., Joins JAMS in Century City and Los Angeles

Seasoned lawyer, interim in-house counsel, and temporary judge joins JAMS as a mediator, arbitrator, court-appointed neutral and neutral evaluator.

New Panelist Announcement

Los Angeles – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Ellie Hourizadeh, Esq., has joined its panel. Ms. Hourizadeh joins JAMS with more than 25 years of experience as a partner at the international law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP.

Throughout her work in private practice, Ms. Hourizadeh advised clients and litigated complex cases involving many areas of law, including intellectual property, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, securities, health care, employment, entertainment, licensing, real estate, manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions among other areas.

Ms. Hourizadeh has also served as an interim in-house counsel to companies in various fields, including health care, broadcast and media, real estate, manufacturing and software engineering. She also presided as a temporary judge for the Los Angeles Superior Court over civil law and motion calendars and worked as a mediator for the Central District of California and Los Angeles Superior Court since 2019.

Based in the Century City Resolution Center, Ms. Hourizadeh will serve as a mediator, arbitrator, court-appointed neutral and neutral evaluator, handling disputes in complex litigation, intellectual property, employment, antitrust and competition, business and commercial disputes, cybersecurity and privacy, entertainment and sports, real property and personal injury matters. She is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally.

Ms. Hourizadeh earned her B.A., summa cum laude and with special honors, from the University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola Law School.
