Los Angeles – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is proud to announce its support of the Fourth Annual California International Arbitration Week (CIAW), which will take place from March 10 to 14 in West Los Angeles. The event is presented by the California Lawyers Association’s Litigation Section and California Arbitration (CalArb) and includes leading arbitral institutions and organizations.
The weeklong programming will celebrate international arbitration in California, featuring thought-provoking panel discussions and valuable networking opportunities with users, institutions and practitioners from the state and internationally. As California continues to rise in popularity as both a seat and venue for international arbitration, the programming will provide an opportunity for attendees to deepen their understanding of the evolving legal, economic and technology landscape impacting ADR and the best practices that support the success of dispute resolution in the state.
“We are thrilled to once again support California International Arbitration Week. This event is a truly collaborative forum and an opportunity to discuss the state of international arbitration in the Golden State. We are proud that several of our neutrals will be participating again this year and sharing their knowledge and perspective with the ADR community in California and beyond.”
Kimberly Taylor, JAMS CEO and president
This year, JAMS will be presenting three panels and hosting an evening networking reception on March 11 in Culver City. Panelists from JAMS will be participating in a series of panel discussions that cover topics such as current trends in navigating US-Mexico disputes, IP protection in the age of AI and big data, best practices for award drafting, expedited arbitration work and for disclosing artificial intelligence, and the future of international arbitration in California.
