Los Angeles – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Janine A. Sperandeo, Esq., will be continuing her career with JAMS as a panelist. Prior to becoming a neutral at JAMS, Ms. Sperandeo started her own law firm and also acted as a research attorney supporting JAMS neutrals on a wide variety of cases.
For the first part of her career, Ms. Sperandeo handled complex, multidistrict product liability matters and class actions. After more than a decade as an attorney working in litigation and the settlement of hundreds of individual claims, she turned to ADR full time, where she has played a role in the evaluation and resolution of sophisticated matters, including arbitrations, mediations, discovery references and neutral evaluations.
Based in the Los Angeles Resolution Center, Ms. Sperandeo will serve as a mediator, arbitrator and special master/referee, handling entertainment and sports, business and commercial, real property, health care and employment matters. She is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally.
“We are pleased that Ms. Sperandeo will be continuing her career at JAMS. She has stood out as an ADR professional with an incredible eye for detail and as someone who takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in how she treats each party that she serves. We are confident that she will remain an asset to our team as she transitions into her role as a panelist.”
Kimberly Taylor, JAMS CEO and president
In her role at JAMS to date, Ms. Sperandeo has worked side by side with the world’s leading jurists, arbitrators and mediators, handling a wide range of cases across industry sectors. This experience has allowed her to cultivate a wealth of unique experience working at the highest levels of the ADR industry. She has also served as a lecturer at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she taught courses on arbitration advocacy and arbitration clause drafting.
“It has been an honor to start my career in ADR with JAMS, and I’m thrilled to transition my work here to serving as a panelist. Through my years with the organization, I’ve had the opportunity to not only work on complex, diverse cases that have expanded my legal acumen, but I’ve also developed my own style and approach when it comes to dispute resolution,” said Ms. Sperandeo.
Ms. Sperandeo earned her B.S. from the University of California, San Diego and her J.D., from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
