Dr. Anton G. Maurer, LL.M., FCIArb, is a highly accomplished alternative dispute resolution (ADR) professional focused on arbitration and resolution of cross-border disputes. Dr. Maurer’s knowledge and proficiency in diverse areas of law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions and commercial agreements of international nature, as a neutral, counsel or attorney have earned him widespread recognition in the field of international arbitration and transactions. His experience covers a broad range of industries, including engineering and construction, machine and machine tool manufacturing, automotive, paper, medical equipment, electrical equipment, energy, pharmaceuticals, consumer industries and telecommunications.

Dr. Maurer's deep appreciation of cultural nuances and understanding of various legal systems—having worked extensively throughout the U.S., Asia and Europe—allow him to navigate complex cross-border matters with ease. He has lived in the U.S., Germany and Switzerland, and is fluent in English and German.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and holds an LL.M. in U.S. and global business law.
