New Panelist Announcement

Walnut Creek, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Paul E. Garrison, Esq., to its panel. Mr. Garrison joins JAMS with decades of legal and managerial experience. He formerly served as vice president and senior counsel, manager of employee relations and compliance manager for Wells Fargo for over a decade. He brings a balanced perspective to challenging disputes due to his experience handling complex problems in sophisticated business settings throughout his career.

In 2008, Mr. Garrison established his own law firm, Law Offices of Paul Garrison, focusing primarily on ADR. He has helped parties negotiate multimillion-dollar settlements to both commercial and employment disputes. Prior to starting his firm as a neutral service provider, he served as the director of legal and regulatory affairs for American Automobile Association (AAA) Northern California, Neveda and Utah. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing the legal department's litigation and operations. He also served as the general counsel and corporate secretary of Transfield Services' domestic operations.

Based in the Walnut Creek Resolution Center, Mr. Garrison will serve as an arbitrator, mediator, special master/referee and neutral evaluator, handling business/commercial and employment law disputes. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for attorneys and their clients across the country.

Mr. Garrison is known for his practical and attentive style, as well as his ability to listen and fine-tune his approach to complex cases in a way that aligns with parties’ needs. We are committed to continuing to expand our panel with thoughtful, tenacious and creative professionals, and are pleased that Mr. Garrison has chosen to join JAMS.

- Chris Poole, JAMS CEO

Mr. Garrison believes that parties are better served when the ADR process is customized and implemented in a manner that helps all involved. To that end, he has deep experience tailoring the ADR process to meet today’s business needs. Earlier in his career, he was employed by Wells Fargo for almost 12 years in both legal and management positions. Before joining Wells Fargo, he was in private practice in San Francisco, during which time he practice labor and employment law.

As a neutral, I look forward to taking on challenging matters and helping parties reach just and efficient solutions. I believe that the best solutions can be reached by truly listening and valuing the diverse perspectives that each party brings to a proceeding, and I want to channel that in my new role here at JAMS.

- Paul E. Garrison, Esq.

Mr. Garrison earned his B.S. from Cornell University, School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and his J.D. from Vanderbilt School of Law.
